Riale, hamlet of Formazza, is the last town center in the North part of Ossola valley.

Dam and lake of Morasco

 

Riale, small village in the municipality of Formazza, 

is the northernmost village of the Piedmont Region.  

The first lake encountered near Riale is the reservoir of Morasco, 

created by a dam; you can walk right round it along a pleasant track.
